New feature for MAQNIFY Guide: Get to your desired location faster with the new POI search.
With the latest feature update to the MAQNIFY© Guide, it is now possible to search for individual POIs in guides. This feature, which was already available in the old Erlebnisguide web app, has finally been added to the MAQNIFY platform. This makes guides with lots of POIs – such as our information portal for tourist information boards, Braune-Schilder.info – significantly more user-friendly.
The update is now available to all customers, regardless of the package they have booked.
Here's how it works: From now on, POI search can be activated in the backend via a slider for individual guides. This can be found via the toggles for ‘Online’ mode and ‘Demo mode’.
A free text search field is then displayed above the map on the front end. If the search term entered can be assigned to a POI, the map section automatically zooms in. At the same time, the list view is updated. In addition, the search can be narrowed down by using the category and, if available, the region filter. The user can now either click on the entry in the list or the teaser tile on the map to go to the POI they are looking for.
The new feature is particularly suitable for guides with a large number of POIs from different categories, such as our digital visitor guidance systems.
